It's catch up time!

Yeah yeah - I know. Being MIA on blog posting has been my middle name. But I'm happy to share that I had a wonderfully busy year in 2010, and have finally {mostly} caught up so let the posting begin! Stay tuned for more....

For now I want to wish a couple of special gals "Happy Birthday!". My Scottie lasses turned 4 yrs old today, and were treated to an extra yummy breakfast. Needless to say they were eager beavers to dig in!

So yeah again - Scottie dogs rule. :o)

Back from New Mexico!

Well I am finally back from my wonderful trip to New Mexico. Santa Fe was fantastic - of course! The workshop was amazing, and I was fortunate enough to make some new friends during my travels.

I'm slowly catching up on processing and posting photographs from June - July, so many thanks for your patience! Clients should be seeing some new images posted soon in your galleries, and for the blog readers you'll eventually be seeing some more shots I took while on my travels.

Did I mention how awesome my trip was?? ;o)

Renee + Adam = plus one {sneak preview}

What:Maternity Portrait Session

Renee and Adam are expecting their first little one very soon. And when Renee contacted me about possibly scheduling a maternity session, we ended up talking on the phone for over an hour. Well what do you expect when two doggie people start talking about their fur-babies?! I'm glad that they decided to include their 'pup', Makua, in the photo shoot. Even though he kept us on our toes and laughing with his playfulness, he is obviously an important part of their family as well. :o)

They do not know if their baby will be a boy or girl yet, but isn't the wait exciting? I think the vote was that it will be a boy, but we shall have to wait and see....

Don't you just love naughty Scotties?! I'm finally starting to catch up from a busy March, so will be blogging like a mad woman over the next couple of months. Hmmmm since spring is in the air AND I'm sporting a new blog design (btw how do ya like it?), I think it may be time to run a special....stay tuned!

A Girl's Best Friend

I know it is supposed to be diamonds, but this gal is going to throw her hat in with the men on this one and say it is her dog. :o)

Annie-belle (and her sister ~ Laurie) turned two this week. Looking back over the past year, I am amazed at how much they have accomplished and am thankful for all the "adventures" we have shared together. (Annie-belle has her CD and RE titles, and Laurie is a CH and has her RA - hurray). I know - seems cheesy but any fellow dog lover will certainly understand!

In celebration of their birthday, thought I would post some recent snapshots of them.
