An Adventurous Bride & Groom

"Day After" or "Trash the Dress" photo sessions are becoming more and more popular among brides, though it is still pretty controversial in some wedding circles. Many times the dress can easily be cleaned and back to 'like new' condition without any problems. From this photographer's standpoint, I believe that it allows the bride and groom to capture some incredibly romantic and glamorous photographs (aka memories) and to have some fun after the stress of planning a wedding.

Bonnie and Kelvin are from Canada and visited Hawaii for their honeymoon. I had the great pleasure of being their TTD photographer, and needless to say it was one of the most fun photo shoots I have ever done. Walker + Imai

Jonathan and Julia had an intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. Afterwards everyone enjoyed fine dining and La Pietra's architecture as a beautiful backdrop during the reception. Best wishes to Jonathan and Julia in the their new life together!

Monuments to Freedom & Liberty

I was in D.C. last week on business and so of course took some time to photograph the monuments. Needless to say it is a very emotional experience to visit them, especially the Vietnam Memorial where you can read all the stories and notes left by the loved ones of soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Family Fun at the Beach

The Tan Family recently vacationed here on Oahu, and had a special request for their family portrait session - they wanted mostly B&W photos. Of course I was very excited about this since I LOVE shooting B&W images. What made the photo shoot even better was that everyone had a great time and there were plenty of smiles to go around.
